Fees

These apply alongside the rates above

Application fee, new families$225 one time
Textbook and materials fee$600 / year
  — new families, with the application$300 down, balance by December
  — returning families, over the summer$300 down, balance by December
Materials, art and weekly cooking supplies$100 twice a year, September and March
Lunch on its own, if you are not on a lunch plan$5
Late fee, after the 5th of the month$25 / month

How the $600 works. The textbook and materials fee is $600 for the year, and the $300 you pay with the application is the first half of it, not a separate deposit. The balance is due by winter break in December. New families also pay the one-time $225 application fee. If paying it another way suits your family better, call the office, we work with people.

Paying by check or at the office? Tuition is due on the first of the month and is late after the fifth. On autopay you are never late: your payment runs automatically on the same day each month, whichever day you start. No credit is given for illness or vacation during the school year, mid-August through mid-June. A 30-day written notice is required to withdraw. Closed for major holidays and one week in August. Prices effective June 2026.

Who can apply

After one year here

Your child needs to have attended for one year before being considered. One child per family is eligible.

How they decide

Three things

Academic achievement, financial need and parental involvement. Every application goes to a committee.

Privacy

Nobody is told

Scholarships are confidential. They are not shared with the enrolment. Decisions are made before the next school year starts.

Call (760) 345-8100

Ask the office for scholarship information. New tuition rates apply to all returning students, with scholarship recipients the only exception. A tuition payment agreement is signed with the application if other arrangements are needed.

Smart ways to pay

Four things your advisor will be glad you knew.

529 Plans

College savings can pay K-12

Many families use 529 education savings for K-12 private tuition (annual limits apply). Ask your plan administrator about current limits and state treatment.

Dependent-care accounts

Pre-K & aftercare may qualify

Pre-Kindergarten and before/after-school care can qualify for dependent-care FSA dollars and the child-care tax credit. We provide the statements and tax ID your filer needs.

Grandparents

Direct tuition, zero gift tax

Tuition a grandparent pays directly to the school is generally exempt from federal gift tax. A favorite of family advisors, and of grandchildren.

ESA programs

ESAs & the online program

Many state ESA and school-choice programs can pay for live online instruction. Our online learning program provides the documentation and invoices your program requires.

General information, not tax advice — confirm details with your tax professional.

Paying from abroad

International payment, handled.

Application fees and enrollment deposits can be paid online with international cards, so a family can reserve a seat before they travel. Tuition is billed in U.S. dollars with online payment and autopay options.
